Flight Delay
(a) Delay due to mechanical breakdown of the scheduled flight,
bad weather conditions or strike / industrial actions; or
(b) Delay due to Misconnection of an Earlier Flight while
overseas
Pays the Traveller the
amount indicated in the event of Flight Delay while overseas, as stated below:
Limit of S$50 per each
full 6 consecutive hours, Maximum limit of S$100.
2) Baggage Delay
Reimburses the Traveller
up to S$100 for purchases of essential requisites in the event of baggage
delay for more than 6 consecutive hours.
3) Baggage Loss
Reimburses the Traveller
up to S$300 for loss of check-in baggage upon certified by the airline or
handling agent. In the event that the Traveller had already claimed for Baggage
Delay under Benefit (2), UOI will settle the claims no more than S$300 for
this Benefit.
